NEWSFLASH >>> Orange County Crime Stoppers and Crime Survivors, Inc., are two separate non-profit entities. I did in fact resign my position as CEO of Orange County Crime Stoppers (OCCS) on Dec 31, 2014. But I’m still very active with Crime Survivors as the CEO!

I think there’s a handful of individuals that linked the two organizations and when they saw I resigned from the one, they figured that was it and that I was no longer active.

Not true; I hate to disappoint, but Crime Survivors is still at large.

As a matter of fact, Crime Survivors, Inc. (CSI) eats up an average of 10 – 12 hours of my time per day. Weekends included. It’s only just recently that I will start to really make time for myself in the morning and afternoons and in the evening. I have to make time for myself to keep my sanity, for my physical wellbeing and for spiritual growth.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have a burning passion for the work we do and I’m still wholly committed (as long as they don’t commit me). Balance is the key.

Now I’m off to my Bikram Yoga class. I’m pooped and I have no energy, but I’ve made a promise to myself and I have to go. I will now go to a room preheated to 105⁰, strike different poses for 90 minutes with peoples of many different cultures. I will be sweating like a rotisserie chicken on a spit. The aroma in the class is like . . . how about those Dodgers?

Any encouragement from you will be greatly appreciated.

FYI: I’m still the CEO of CSI and we are still trying to make a difference in people’s lives, specifically for the victims, survivors, and families of crime. So please let others know that this non-profit organization, Crime Survivors, needs sponsors, in kind donors, contributors, volunteers & supporters. www.crimesurvivors.org

Thanks for tuning in. With much love and respect always,
