Patricia is one of the most genuine, caring, selfless people I have ever met. Her drive and commitment to helping victims of crime regain their lives is one of the most noble and important things I have ever witnessed. I feel extremely lucky to have met Patricia and truly blessed to call her a friend.
I’m hesitant to say this because I know Patricia would hate it… but angels do walk amongst us and often those angels endure great pain and tragedy in their personal lives. It’s through that personal pain that they are able to love and minister and fight and indeed to provide a voice for those who have lost their own. Hers is not an easy life but the sheer goodness she brings to all of us is profound. I am always surprised and honored that she thinks of me as friend… which is how I think of her.
Patricia has dedicated her life to helping others. To hear her tell her story is not only inspiring, but it will give you the “hope” and the belief that “even though bad things happen to good people” the choice to do something good is a priceless gift.
Patricia is that gift to so many people she has helped throughout the years and continues to be such a great example to so many. We feel blessed to have her steering the ship for Crime Survivors.
