It’s not easy to admit ones flaws or to share secrets. But I will do so.

I share for one reason: I know there are others that can relate, and those who can relate are probably struggling and I want them to know they are not alone. I share at my own personal expense.

I want to share with you my friends, that for the past 13 years, prior to every event for our organization, I would not eat for approx. two weeks so that I could fit into something and not look like a beached whale. Okay, so my vanity was at work and I wanted to look good on stage. True enough.

Not anymore. I have gained a bunch, but for the first time in my life, I am not going to starve myself anymore. I am going to embrace the new me knowing that God loves and validates every single ounce and pound of this body of mine. And for the first time, let me add, thin … fat… or anything in-between, I love myself. Without shame or judgement. No time for PC here. I am FATT: Fabulous All The Time. Fatt, but loving self!
